Take time to understand...

On Saturday, during the way to White Clay Creek we passed by a temple;

Oath : Which country the temple is?
Husband: It rel (PS: I wrote in what I heard , so it does not correct English)
Oath : WHAT?
Husband : IT REL!  ( I guess by his voice , he was getting frustrated)
Oath: say again.. ( I still did not know what did he say)
Husband : ...looked at me with frustrated face  and also quiet.
Oath  : Do not frustrated because I do not understand . It is not my language. Please say again slowly.
Husband : IT RA EL
Oath : Oh! IT SA RA EL... this what I said in my language...( I was laughing) and try to say the same as his sound.

Finally I know it is ISAREL temple.
................................

I know everyone has the same experiences like me , but it does not mean your English is bad . Think opposite , when English speaking speaks Thai they also same like us. Keep asking and practicing , unless the person you ask do not have patience enough to tell you again and again...LOL

Quotation # 2

"Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that , but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great."

Mark Twain

belittle = try make it small
ambitions =  desire to achieve a particular end

I think if you confident and believe in what  you want to do, want to succeed and do not listen to people who try to make you lost, you will acheive.

One day,many months ago, my husband told a cat " you have to behave yourself". I guess it  means a cat have to do good because he is really naughty.

Husband: I want to watch movie today.

Husband: If you promise to Behave.
Oath : What does Behave mean? Does it mean I must good not naughty like a cat.

Husband: Yes.
Oath : OK.Then we were in a car.

On our way I put my hand on his belly as usual , suddently my husband turn his face and smile...., so I knew that mean I promised to Behave myself, so I took my hand back immediately. I was good all day until....

When we were in bed, my husband was reading a book and I was knitting.He was yawning with mouth openned, immediately I put my finger into his mouth.

Husband : " you promised to Behave".
Oath       : " it was expired because that for watched movie

what is the weather forcast today?

I read one of my Thai friends 's blog..in Thai. She wrote about how to ask in English about the weather.

These are the questions  to ask  when  we want to know about the weather ;

1. What is the weather forecast for today ?

2.What is the weather forecast for tomorrow?

3. What is the weather going to be like tomorrow?

and also if someone ask you the questions above the answer are ;

1.It is going to upper 40 to low 50, partly cloudy, and chance of rain .

2.It will be in the upper 40 to low 50 today, ................................

sometime people say like this ;
What is the temperature gonna be tomorrow?

gonna is slang , not proper English .
proper English =>going to be

What is the temperature going to be tomorrow?
