They prepared for this trip two months. They searched and figured what they were allowed or not allowed to do in Thailand and what they should prepared for both things and health. This is the first long distance trip from America to other country for them. Of course, they are excited.
The Simsons are among other tourists on the boat. It is a huge boat. About 2 hours after the boat left the pier, it stopped in the middle of the sea. The crew threw a giant anchor into the sea. They threw it by mechanical control.
The sea water is really clear but too deep to see under. The weather is great even it is evening time now. The situation like this could make a person who gets angry calm down so easy. The wind blows softy touching mother's long hair.
"Ummm, it is the right decision we made to come here" mother said.
"Yes, and I am so happy we are here together today and also I can be away from my annoying boss for a while", father replied.
"MOM" a little boy is shouting. "LOOK!" the boy is pointing to the deck on the second floor of the boat. There is a woman sitting beside a boy who is laying down on the floor. The woman looks really anxious.
"Anybody help!" the woman is shouting. Suddenly, the crew and people in the area come to her and asked what happened? A big crew guy holds her son up and brings him to the clinic on the boat. We knew later that the boy was playing and hit the boat handrail by accident that made him pass out.
He is fine now because we see him with his mother when the boat stops at the island and everyone moves from the boat to the resorts which the tour company provided.
The two daughters are smiling at each other.
One daughter said to another, " I have not seen anywhere like this place at home. It is a cool place."
"WOW! I love it here. It is beautiful like we are in Paradise", the little boy said.

The Simsons — father, mother, two daughters, and a little boy — are on a boat heading to Samui Island. This is their first long‑distance trip from America to another country, and they chose Thailand for their vacation.
They spent two months preparing. They researched what they could and couldn’t do in Thailand, what to pack, and how to stay healthy. Everything about this trip feels new and exciting.
The boat is huge, filled with other tourists. About two hours after leaving the pier, it slows down and stops in the middle of the sea. The crew lowers a giant anchor using a mechanical system.
The water is clear, though too deep to see the bottom. The evening air is soft and peaceful. Even someone with a bad temper would feel calm in a moment like this. A gentle breeze brushes through the mother’s long hair.
“Ummm… it really was the right decision to come here,” the mother says. “Yes. I’m so happy we’re all here together — and that I can escape my annoying boss for a while,” the father replies.
“MOM!” the little boy suddenly shouts. “LOOK!” He points to the second‑floor deck. A woman is sitting beside a boy lying on the floor. She looks terrified.
“Somebody help!” she cries.
Crew members and nearby passengers rush to her. A large crewman lifts the boy and carries him to the boat’s clinic. Later, everyone learns that the boy had been playing and accidentally hit his head on the handrail, causing him to faint.
When the boat finally reaches the island, the family sees the boy again — awake and walking with his mother. Relief spreads quietly among the passengers.
The two daughters smile at each other. “I’ve never seen anything like this at home. This place is amazing,” one says. “WOW! I love it here. It’s beautiful — like we’re in paradise!” the little boy adds.
